Synthesis of 2-Amino-3-cyano-4-arylbenzochromenes under Noncatalysis Conditions Using PEG-400 as Green Medium

A series of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-arylbenzochromenes were synthesized by a three-component one-pot reaction of naphthol, malononitrile and aromatic aldehydes using PEG-400 as green reaction medium under noncatalysis conditions. The reaction has the advantages of good yields, less pollution, simple operation and environmental friendliness. The structures of all compounds were confirmed by IR and NMR spectra.
