About the Cover:A visible light-induced net reductive radical alkylation of aldimines has been established by Shao, Zhou, Wang, Tang and Shen on page 2676 based on the photoactive electron donor-acceptor complex of sodium iodide, tri-phenylphosphine and N-acyloxyphthalimide, and show- ed highly efficient not only for secondary, tertiary and α-heterosubstituted alkyl radicals, but also for primary alkyl and some benzylic radicals.

About the Cover:C—N bonds are widely existed in drugs, natural products, and functional materials. Recently, the renaissance in organic electrochemistry has promoted the electrochemical C—N bond formations to be a special branch of organic synthesis. The most recent advances in the electrochemical C—N bond formations since 2015 are summarized by Meng, Feng and Xu on page 2535. The reaction mechanisms of these trans?formations are discussed, and the challenges and future directions of this important filed are included.
