过氧化氢水溶液催化氧化环戊烯制备戊二醛

Preparation of glutaraldehyde by catalytic oxidation of cyclopentene with aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide

Glutaraldehyde was prepared by oxidation of cyclopentene with aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. Various catalyst-solvent systems were tested and the highest yield of glutaraldehyde was obtained in WO3.H2O-t-BuOH system: about 60% (30% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant) or 80% (50% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant). Mechanism studies indicate that cyclopentene oxide is the intermediate of the reaction.
