Ligand chelation of the iron center prior to deposition circumvents ferric-ion precipitation in neutral-to-alkaline media, which not only markedly modulates the film morphology but also substantially enhances the iron loading and electrocatalytic activity. -
封面介绍Wang, Zhaohui; Jiang, Wei et al. on page 1525-1533: Chiral molecular carbon imides (CMCIs), derived from rylene imides-based molecular carbon frameworks, have emerged as a unique class of chiral π-conjugated systems. This review systematically summarizes the latest progress in circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)-active CMCIs, elucidates the relationship between their molecular structures and CPL performance, and discuss key molecular design strategies and future application prospects in this domain.
