本文报道了蒽镁与O~2,H~2,C~2H~2,CO,CO~2,(CH~3)~2CO,C~2H~5Br的反应.其中,蒽镁与(CH~3)~2CO和C~2H~5Br的反应可以分别作为合成(9,10-二氢-9-蒽基)二甲基甲醇和9,10-二乙基-9,10-二氢蒽的简易方法.

Reactions of the title compound (I) with O2 or CO gave anthracene. 9,10-Dihydroanthracene was obtained in reactions of I with H2 or CHYCH in THF. With CO2, 9,10-dihydroanthracene-9,10-dicarboxylic acid II (R = R1 = CO2H) was obtained in 82% yield. With Me2CO, dihydroanthryldimethylcarbinol II (R = Me2COH, R1 = H) was obtained in 64% yield. Reaction of I with EtBr gave diethyldihydroanthracene II (R = R1 = Et) in 99% yield.
