本文在选择性非均相催化氢化α,β-不饱和醛、酮的基础上, 用手性的膦(-)-diop作配体, 还原扰牛儿醛和橙花醛时得到了旋光性的香茅醛。

Complexes generated in situ from rhodium(I) dicarbonyl acetylacetonate and diphosphine are found to be very efficient homogeneous catalysts for the hydrogenation of a,b-unsatd. aldehydes and ketones into the corresponding saturated carbonyl compounds In the presence of the chiral diphosphine (-)-diop, geranial is hydrogenated into (+)-citronellal with optical yield 62% e.e. and neral into (-)-citronellal with 55% e.e. resp.
