Novel chiral porphyrin-resemblingC2-symmetric bis(oxazoline) ligands 1a～1f were synthesized, and their RuCl3 complexes using NaIO4 as an oxidatant were applied in the epoxidation of trans-stilbene with good yield (46.0%), but poor ee value (6.3%).
