Efficient Method for Deprotection of Oximes to Corresponding Car-bonyl Compounds Catalyzed by Silica Sulfuric Acid

Exchange reaction of the oximes with paraformaldehyde to form the corresponding carbonyl compounds catalyzed by silica sulfuric acid was carried in 68%～98% yields within 15～120 min by stirring at 90 ℃ in water in the presence of sodium dodecylsulfonate.
