In this paper, a new simple method was used in the preparation of 1- oxo-1-phospha-2, 6, 7-trioxabicyclo[2.2.2]-4-chloromethyl octane (4), and new derivatives of bicyclic phosphate (5a～ f, 7, 8a～ i), which are 4-methylene sulfide, 4-chloroethanethioyl carbony, 4-(β - thioalkyl)-α-thioic ester, respectively, were synthesized by the reaction of (4) or 1-oxo-1-phospha-2, 6, 7-trioxabicyclo[2.2.2]-4- chlorocarbonyl octane (3) with mercaptans. The corresponding sulfoxides (6a～f) were also obtained by further oxidation of 5a～f. All the compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and ^1H NMR.
