喹唑啉及其衍生物是一类重要的含氮杂环化合物, 广泛应用于药物、生物标记物及材料科学等领域. 报道了一种新颖高效的以N-(2-乙酰基苯基)苯甲酰胺和氰胺为原料, 通过碘促进分子间环化合成2-苯基喹唑啉及其衍生物的方法. 该方法具有无需金属催化剂、操作简单、试剂便宜和步骤经济等优点, 为2-苯基喹唑啉及其衍生物的合成提供了实用而有吸引力的路线.

Quinazolines are an important class of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, which are widely used in pharmaceuticals, biomarkers and materials science. A novel and efficient method for the synthesis of 2-phenylquinazolines through iodine-promoted intramolecular cyclization of N-(2-acetylphenyl)benzamide and cyanamide has been developed. This method has advantages of not using metal catalysts, simple operation with cheap reagents and step economy, offering a useful and attractive route for the synthesis of 2-phenylquinazolines and their derivatives.
