About the Cover:In recent years, significant progress has been made in the enantioselective synthesis of P-chiral phosphine oxides, which are of importance in pharmaceuticals and asymmetric catalysis. The attractive achievements from 2020 to 2022 are summarized and discussed by Luo, Yin, and Jiang on page 1963.

About the Cover:The recent progress on the catalytic asymmetric synthesis of N—N atropisomers is reviewed by Song, Li, Huang, Jia, and Mei on page 1977. The N—N bond is widely found in natural products and bioactive compounds. The atropisomerism of N—N bond, however, had been dismissed for a long time due to the stereotype that N—N axis is unstable. Since the first report in 2021, the catalytic asymmetric synthesis of N—N atropisomers has developed rapidly into an emerging area.

About the Cover:A Lewis acid-catalyzed [2+4] cyclization of 3-alkyl- 2-vinylindoles with α,β-unsaturated N?sulfonyl keti- mines is reported by Sun, Sun, Wang, Wu, Wang, Liu, and Zhang on page 2178. This work has confronted the challenges in exploring the [2+4] cyclization of 3-alkyl-2-vinylindoles, which will enrich the chemistry of 3-alkyl-2-vinylindoles. In addition, this approach provides an atom-economic method for the synthesis of indole-containing piperidines.

About the Cover:The research progress of silver-mediated synthesis of C(3)-disubstituted indolin-2-ones via tandem radical addition/cyclization of N-arylacrylamides is summarized by Ren, Luo, and Zhou on page 2026. These silver- mediated radical alkene difunctionalization transfor- mations are classified according to different types of bond formation.
