封面介绍Li, Yuxue & Lu, Long on page 828-839: Conventional energetic molecule design mainly focuses on modifying molecular skeletons. Differently, we proposed a strategy for designing energetic functional groups. By combining classic energetic substituents, 39 composite energetic groups with an initial decomposition energy barrier ≥30 kcal/mol were screened out. Among them, five structures have been experimentally synthesized, and their calculated thermal stabilities are in agreement with experimental observations. -
封面介绍Yang, Guanghui & Han, Jianrong on page 812-819: A green, safe, and convenient fluorescent film was developed for the detection of trace copper ions in water. The film incorporates a linear supramolecular polymer formed via the cross-linked assembly of pillararene derivatives and lanthanide complexes. The presence of copper ions interferes with the lanthanide-centered luminescence within the supramolecular polymer, thereby altering the fluorescence properties of the film.
