本文报导了用弱酸型的阳离子交换树脂p-COOH, 与NaBH4的乙二醇二甲醚溶液反应,充N2, 65℃下搅拌24h, 制得聚合物还原剂III。将反应液冷却到室温, 以乙二醇二甲醚20ml洗涤树脂三次(倾泻法洗涤), 除去没有反应的NaBH4。在THF存在下, 试剂III可将羰基化合物还原为醇。

China-made ion exchange resin D 151 reacts with sodium boronhydride in glyme at 65 ? to give polymer-supported reagent which can reduce different kinds of carbonyl compounds with high yields. The resin used once has a better reducing property than the original one.
