The title catalyst can be used as an effective catalyst for the reaction of aryl halides with alkenes and alkynes. The catalyst can be separated easily from the reaction mixture by a simple filtration with its catalytic activity remained. E.g., PhCH:CHCO2Me was prepared in 80% yield from Me acrylate, iodobenzene, and the title catalyst.
